Lucknow: In a major relief for those who desparately need help during the pandemic, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched the 100-bed COVID ward in Cancer Hospital. Patients are already being admitted to the hospital. CM Yogi reached the spot and inspected the hospital. Along with Yogi, Medical Education Minister Suresh Khanna, Minister of State Sandeep Singh, Chief Secretary RK Tiwari and other top officials were present.
After inspecting arrangements, he said that the government is constantly taking necessary steps to break the corona infection chain. He called for the need to run community eateries for labourers, carts, street vendors, daily labourers.
For this, the Commissioner of Agricultural Production has been directed. He said that arrangements for food etc. should be made in the industrial units. No person should be disturbed due to lack of food. So far aroud 4.18 crore tests have been conducted in the state.
