100 BED HOSPITALS IN EACH DISTRICT OF U.P
Lucknow: Large numbers of people died in the first wave of the corona pandemic, and many died immediately due to non-availability of beds in hospitals. Even after the maximum number of deaths, the government said that it would get more hospitals constructed in UP and so far they have got 61 new hospitals constructed in UP.
Work is about to start in the remaining 14 districts. Along with this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has resolved for the second term that every assembly constituency will have a one hundred bed hospital. A time of 5 years has been fixed for this. Free dialysis facility will also be made available in every district. Apart from the district hospital, a first referral unit has also been included in each district.
The entire health plan was presented in the health department in the annexe building. The Food and Drug Administration Department proposed its schemes including medical, health and family welfare, medical education, AYUSH, child development and nutrition involved in this sector.
Mission Zero will be run for waterborne diseases like Dengue, Malaria, Chikungunya, Zika Virus, Japanese Encephalitis, AES and Kala-azar. It is also planned that at least 800 new ambulances will be added in the next 100 days.
