15 major city routes to witness traffic diversions during the GIS 2023 event

Lucknow: Many VVIPs from India and abroad are going to participate in the Investors Summit to be held in the capital Lucknow. In such a situation, vigorous preparations are being made by the police department to keep the arrangements in check.

Route diversions will be in place on 15 major routes of the city from February 10 to 12 during the Investors Summit to avoid traffic jams on arrival in the city.

This route diversion will be effective daily from 7:00 am till the end of the programme. Traffic DCP Raees Akhtar said that only school vehicles, fire fighting vehicles, ambulances and hearse vehicles will be allowed to ply on the no-entry route after obtaining permission under special circumstances.

For any kind of problem or suggestion related to traffic, traffic control room number can be contacted.

Route diversion will remain on these 15 routes:

1- There will be no entry from Amausi Airport VIP turn to inside Amausi Airport. These vehicles will be able to go from Amausi Airport VIP mode to the left of Amausi Commercial turn.

2- Sector-07C, Vrindavan Yojna railway underpass Tirahe (Chirayabagh) via Shaheed Path underpass, Sector-9A, Mama Tiraha, Gyan Sarovar Canal Bridge (Ishwari Kheda) intersection towards the venue of Sector-15 Vrindavan Yojna There will be no entry. These vehicles will be able to go from Sector-07C Vrindavan Yojna Railway Under Pass Tirahe to Sector-8 Vrindavan Yojna Tiraha, Ameti International School side Utrethia Shaheed Path Railway Crossing under pass, right Utrethia Railway Station Road or Teli Bagh.

3- There will be no entry from Sector-08 Vrindavan Yojna Shaheed Path underpass intersection towards the venue of Sector-10, Sector-15 Vrindavan Yojna. These vehicles will be able to go through Sector-08 Vrindavan Yojna Shaheed Path Underpass Crossroads in front of Ameti Inter National School, from Utrethia Shaheed Path Railway Crossing under pass on the right side of Utrethia Railway Station Road or Teli Bagh.

4- There will be no entry from Sector-09 Vrindavan Yojna Mama Tiraha Canal Road towards Sector-10 Vrindavan Yojna Crossroads. These vehicles will be able to go from Sector-09 Vrindavan Yojna Mama Tiraha to Chirayabagh, Telibagh or Gyan Sarovar Canal Bridge (Ishwari Kheda) crossing by turning right at Kalindi Park.

5- Vrindavan Sector-09 (Allied Apartment Reserved) There will be no entry from Nahar Tirahe towards Sector-11, Sector-12, Sector-15 Vrindavan Yojna. These vehicles will be able to go from Vrindavan Sector-09 (Allied Apartment Reserve) canal intersection to Chirayabagh, Telibagh or Gyan Sarovar canal bridge (Ishwari Kheda) intersection by turning right at Kalindi Park.

6- Normal traffic will be restricted from Gyan Sarovar Canal Bridge (Ishwari Kheda) intersection to Sector-11, Sector-12, Sector-15 Vrindavan Scheme venue. Road to Kalindi Park and will go to its destination.

7- Normal traffic will be restricted from Sector-16 (big water tank) Vrindavan Yojna intersection towards Sector-15 Vrindavan Yojna program venue. This traffic will go to its destination via Sector-16 (Big Water Tank) Vrindavan Yojna intersection via Canal Road, Gyan Sarovar Vidyalaya Canal Bridge intersection or Sector-17 via Canal Bridge intersection.

8- There will be no entry from Sector-18 (New Trauma Center) intersection towards Sapna Enclave Sector-15, Sector-18 intersection. From Sector-18 (New Trauma Center) intersection, the vehicle will go to its destination via Sector-17 Vrindavan Yojna, Kalli Paschim Police Line Road.

9-Sector-15 (Sapna Enclave) from Tirahe to Sector-15 Vrindavan Yojna, there will be no entry towards the venue. These vehicles will be able to go from Sector-15 (Sapna Enclave) Tiraha to Sector-18 Chauraha or Trauma Center Chauraha, Sector-17 Canal Pul Chauraha, Awas Vikas Gate (Petrol Pump) PGI Tiraha.
