18 Atal residential schools officially start working
Lucknow: Former Prime Minister of India and Bharat Ratna awardee Atal Bihari Vajpayee had a dream that even the low income group people of the country should have access to world class infrastructures and facilities.
To make Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s ideology and inspiration of Antyodaya come true, 18 Atal residential schools are being started in Uttar Pradesh with the inspiration of PM Narendra Modi.
This school will not only be a step towards realizing the dream of education for the children of laborers, destitute and deprived classes, but also by promoting Indian values along with the values of Gurukul tradition, will develop such a plant of youth who will spread the true values of India all over the world.
CM Yogi Adityanath said these things while interacting with teachers and students in the ‘Atal Residential School Guruvarta Sangam’ program organized at Lok Bhavan Auditorium on Friday. He said that at present, Atal residential schools with world class facilities spread over 12 to 15 acres, being run on CBSE pattern between 6th to 12th class in 18 divisions of the state, will not only become centers of skill development of students, but also contribute to the progress of the country.
He said this will pave the way for integrated development along with education for the children of laborers, deprived and destitute. It is now ready to be started in 57 districts soon. On this occasion, while distributing school kits to the students selected for Atal Residential School, CM Yogi personally wished them all the best for the future. Apart from this, the introduction of Atal Residential School and the website related to Atal Residential School http//www.atalvidyalaya.org was also launched.
While addressing the principals of 18 Atal Residential Schools, 130 selected teachers, 137 outsourcing staff and 848 MTAS and junior personnel in the program, CM Yogi said that we started the Bal Seva Yojana for the children who lost their parents during the Corona period. They will also be given the benefit of admission in it. Atal ji used to say that a man is neither big nor small, a man is just a man. The worker is the builder of the nation. He helps in building the nation with his hard work and sweat, but his life is nomadic. Here today, tomorrow he will be somewhere else, his children also travel like this behind him. These are Atal residential schools for these children. When the students come out from here after 6 years, they should come out self-reliant and self-reliant, this is the aim. Teachers will have to ensure this and make new efforts to do so. Remember, we do not have to be rigid, we have to experiment innovatively.
CM Yogi said that our problem is that every person becomes dependent on others. The government gets the institute constructed and provides facilities but the people who consume it do not close the water tap. It is meant to say, the consumers should also fulfill their responsibility. The building may be very grand, but due to lack of care and maintenance, trees grow on the buildings. Buildings like this become ruins. Teachers have to ensure this. Along with this, it has to be ensured that the cleanliness, cleanliness and the campus is completely addiction free, only then the integrated development of the students will be possible. He said, discipline is necessary, if there is no indiscipline at any level then the foundation of an ideal situation will be laid which will become an example in future. CM Yogi said that there should be sports essay and other competitions, only then you will be able to give something new. It is important to know what is happening in the country and society and what are the new schemes of the government. Motivate the students towards the library. Apart from this, on national religious festivals in the residential campus, the principal and teachers will have to give information to the children through a speech and emphasize on promotion of cultural and behavioral values.
On this occasion, Minister of State for Labor and Employment Manohar Lal Mannu Kori, Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra, Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner Manoj Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary Labor and Employment Anil Kumar, Mohanlalganj MLA Amresh Kumar and Director General of Atal Residential School Nisha Anand were present.
