18 development projects ready for inauguration in Mathura
Mathura: Around 18 projects costing Rs 54.09 crore being implemented for tourism development in Mathura district are ready for inauguration.
These projects will be dedicated to the general public in the near future.
All these projects have been completed by Mathura, Brindavan Development Authority, Mathura and C&DS UP Jal Nigam (Urban) as executive body.
This information was given by the state’s Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh here. He informed that for the convenience and security of the devotees on the Badi Parikrama Marg in Govardhan, the work of installation of CCTV camera and PA sound system and traveling work has been completed at a cost of Rs 207.50 lakh.
Similarly, Rs 734.15 lakh for drinking water etc. on Giriraj Ji Govardhan Parikrama Marg, renovation and beautification work of Bharna Khurd Sun Kund located in Govardhan has been completed by spending Rs 494.24 lakh.
Jaiveer Singh told that the work of beautification of the road leading to Govind Nagar Police Station at Gate No. 0-03 of Krishna Janmabhoomi is worth Rs. 342.40 lakh, the work of beautification of green belt from NH-2 to Rukmani Vihar on Vrindavan Chhathkara Marg is worth Rs. 154.95 lakh.
Renovation of Rahi tourist accommodation at Radhakund in Govardhan area has been completed by spending Rs 348.67 lakh, electrification work of Radharani temple at Barsana worth Rs 631.62 lakh and beautification work of Gulal Kund at Gantholi in Govardhan has been completed by spending Rs 82.63 lakh.
The Tourism Minister informed that the work of interlocking and tiling of Vrindavan Parikrama Marg in Mathura district is Rs 79.66 lakh, the approach road of Mahavan’s Chaurasi Khambha is Rs 125.07 lakh, various works in front of Holi Chabutra at Gokul are Rs 130.12 lakh,
Various works of U.P. Brajteerth Vikas Parishad office Rs 860.28 lakh, work of various facilities for devotees at Chintaharan Ghat Rs 100.56 lakh, development work of Lalita Kund in Nandgaon Rs 191.80 lakh, work of fencing from KC Ghat to Kumbh Dwar in Kumbh area Rs 110.18 lakh has been completed with the funds.
Jaiveer Singh told that in the same way beautification work of village Parsua in Tehsil Mott of Mathura district has been completed at a cost of Rs 200.33 lakh and beautification work of Narad Kund located in village Dadisra Tehsil Mott of Mathura has been completed at a cost of Rs 368.63 lakhs.
