19 Trainee IAS Officers of 2022 Batch Visit Lucknow Metro

Lucknow: The trainee officers of 2022 batch. from Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy, Mussoorie visited the Lucknow Metro’s stations, Transport Nagar Depot and OCC – Operations Control Centre. The visit was a part of study tour organized by Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy, Mussoorie.

The visit of the 19 trainee IAS officers started with a overview of the management and operational mechanism of the Lucknow Metro. This visit was led by Swadesh Kumar, General Manager, Operations. At the depot, the trainee IAS officers experienced the Metro’s real time driving experience in cockpit of 5D simulator.

The 5 D simulator provides first hand experience of driving a metro. The metro train drivers are given training on this 5D simulator. Later on, the whole day visit of the trainee officers concluded with the visit at OCC where they understood the real time management of metro’s operations.
