Jhansi: The Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Keshav Prasad Maurya visited the land of Rani Laxmibai, the symbol of bravery and courageand inaugurated a total of 200 projects for the all-round development of various assemblies of Lalitpur, Jalaun and Jhansi. These projects will lead to all round development of the area.
In his address after the inauguration of various projects at Mukta Kashi Manch, Jhansi, he said that there has been a qualitative improvement in the condition of roads in the entire state in the last four and a half years. Earlier on entering Uttar Pradesh, bad roads were seen, but now the condition of the roads has become better. Maurya said that roads are the basis of development. Roads and bridges not only provide transportation facilities but also provide a better environment for marketing services. Farmers and small traders can easily take their goods to the market and get good rates.
He said that as per the aspirations of the people of Uttar Pradesh, a network of roads has been laid in Uttar Pradesh and we are working continuously in this direction. He said that we are giving special emphasis on rural roads, in view of the problem of traffic jams in urban areas, decisions have been taken to build more and more bypasses, flyovers are being built, a large number of rail overhead bridges are being built.
And along with the river bridge, pontoon bridges are also being constructed. Ring roads are under construction in many big cities. Roads 3 meters wide are being made 5 meters. About two and a half thousand unconnected habitations with a population of up to 250 are being connected through connectivity routes this year.
Maurya inaugurated the newly constructed flyover by the department at Sipri Bazar in Jhansi. With the construction of this bridge, the common people passing through here will get the facility of jam-free traffic and will also save time. In the Circuit House of Jhansi district, public hearing of the problems and complaints of the common people was conducted and directed the concerned officers to resolve all the complaints.
