Lucknow: In connection with the three-day Global Investors Summit proposed by the Uttar Pradesh government in the second week of February, a one-day district level investor conference was organized in Lucknow on Tuesday, in which 262 agreements (MoUs) worth Rs 56,299 crore were signed.
This information was given in an official statement released on Tuesday. Global Investors Summit is being organized in Uttar Pradesh from 10 to 12 February. For this, the state government is continuously inviting entrepreneurs for investment.
A one-day Lucknow Investors Conference was organized at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, in which Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Brajesh Pathak attended as the chief guest. Union Minister of State Kaushal Kishore and State Government’s Public Works Minister Jitin Prasada and other ministers were also present in this conference. Addressing the conference, Deputy Chief Minister Pathak while discussing the development work being done by the double engine government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, said that efforts are being made to strengthen the country economically.
He said that Yogi Adityanath has changed the image of Uttar Pradesh, whereas earlier the dreaded mafia used to enter the state assembly. He claimed that due to better law and order in the state, now entrepreneurs from the country and abroad are constantly trying to invest here. According to an official statement released, four technical sessions on manufacturing, textile, MSME and industrial investment, second agriculture, dairy and food processing, and other technical sessions were held during the one-day district level investor conference to fulfill the target achieved by Lucknow in the Global Investors Summit-2023. Sessions were organized for information on bio energy, third housing infrastructure and fourth Nivesh Mitra.
Apart from this, stalls were also set up by various district level departments to help the entrepreneurs. In the technical session, various information related to Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy-2022, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Policy-2022 and land allotment to entrepreneurs was provided by District Magistrate Surya Pal Gangwar. As per the online data of Invest UP portal, 262 MoUs worth Rs 56,299 crore have been signed in Lucknow so far, the statement said.
