Lucknow | Jaipuria Institute of Management celebrated its 27th Founder’s Day at the institute’s premises. The institute felicitated its valuable recruiters who offered placement opportunities and organizations for availing training in management development programs. Meritorious students of Jaipuria Institute were awarded for their extraordinary performance in academics through the Academic Performance Awards. 18 students from PGDM, PGDM-RM, and PGDM-FS were awarded Academic Excellence Awards. 10 students from all three streams received the Commendable Academic Progression Award.
Dr. Kavita Pathak, Director, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow congratulated the studentswho won the awards.She said, “Celebrating 27 years in the life of an institution is a long journey. It is heartening to see ourselves among the forces that led to the inception of our institution. Having the vision to create a centre of excellence, Jaipurians top the chart. The legacy of the Jaipuria Group is to put students’ interests first before anyone else. Everything we desire is possible because we have extreme support from our Institution. We are proud of the linkages that we nurture with various organizations that exist in the city. We should take this moment to celebrate being a Jaipurian today.”
Academic Excellence Awardee and student president Pragati Bansal expressed her happiness on receiving the award. Speaking with media she said “I have learned a lot from my teachers by seeing their work ethic, dedication, and commitment. My parents and friends always inspired me to move forward and do better. Being honored with the Academic Excellence Award on Foundation Day is another step to motivate me to work harder. Hard work, patience, and self-belief are the keys to my success”.
“It is a mixed feeling. I feel honoured to get this award today. I am grateful to all the people who helped me throughout. My success mantra is consistency and concentration during the lectures. I feel if we concentrate in the classroom, the job is half done”, said ChinmaiRastogi, PGDM student and awardee.
Amrata Sachan (awardee student) said that I am feeling proud that my hard work has shown results. It gives me immense pleasure to receive such an honour from the college. The success mantra that I follow is “Don’t wish for it, work for it”.
CP Milk & Foods Private Ltd., Bajaj Capital, HDFC Bank, TATA Motors Limited, Carnation Infotech Pvt. Ltd., and Amul (Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd.) were felicitated by the institute as prominent recruiters.
Sanjay Arora, alumnus from the first batch (1995-97), President of the Alumni Association said “I remember my first day when I took admission to the institute. The institute gave me a lot of confidence and groomed me substantially. I can assure you that you would be proud of yourself, your journey, and the institute. I have seen the growth of this institute with each passing year. I am grateful to be a part of such a prestigious institution”.
“I’m happy to share my nostalgic experiences with this reputed institution.Going down the memory lane, the two years of education, that I spent has been transforming years of my life. I have an immense satisfaction and pride to see the institution grow gradually from where it was. I sincerely wish that we together scale greater heights in times to come” said Dr. Manisha Seth, Faculty and alumna 1997 of Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow.
The celebration came to an end with the vote of thanks by Dean Academics, Dr. RK Ojha followed by the national anthem.
