Sultanpur: Deputy Chief Minister, Keshav Prasad Maurya attended the Garib Kalyan Jan Sabha program organized in the courtyard of Pt. Ram Naresh Tripathi Auditorium located in Sultanpur district as the chief guest. The program was started by lighting the lamp by the Chief Guest Deputy Chief Minister. Ananya Srivastava, IAS, Ariba Noman in the medical field, Dr. A.N. Singh, Munendra Mishra in the field of education, Ashutosh Srivastava in the field of blood donation, Pavitra Saxena in the field of drug eradication and other talents and people who did good work in various fields were honored with angavastra and mementoes.
After this, the keys of the houses were provided by the Deputy Chief Minister to the beneficiaries under the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister’s Housing Scheme. Personal certificate of MNREGA was given by Deputy Chief Minister, also under State Rural Livelihood Mission, Distribution of Ayushman card under Ayushman Bharat scheme, One district, one product, cheque distribution under the assistance scheme for financing, Cheque distribution under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana, Agriculture Department Farm machinery bank keys were provided for custom hiring.
Speaking at the event Maurya said today the bank accounts of 48 crore poor have been opened within the country, about 12 crore farmers have got their accounts in the form of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi where three installments of two thousand rupees each reached. So far, about Rs 2 lakh crore has been reached.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that more than 9 crore free gas connections have been received under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana within the state. He said that the work of making toilets in the homes of 11 crore poor has been done between 2014 and 2022 through the government led by PM Narendra Modi, this is a historic achievement.
Housing for more than 43 lakh poor in Uttar Pradesh, our government has done this work of providing housing to about 3 crore poor in the country under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He said that with the inspiration of Hon’ble Prime Minister, on the completion of 75 years of independence, he has come with Amrit Sarovar Yojana.
