Lucknow: U.P. CM Yogi Adityanath has spoken to the CM of Uttarakhand in the wake of the Chamoli glacial burst and assured all possible help. The Yogi led U.P. government will provide two lakh to the family of the victims.
The government has already issued two helpline numbers to search for people of Uttar Pradesh who were missing in the Uttarakhand disaster. With a control room set up in Haridwar to coordinate with the Government of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh Government, numbers have been issued as well.
Numbers of several officers have also been released, which can be dialled for information of the missing person.
A delegation comprising people like Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Suresh Rana, AYUSH Minister Dharam Singh Saini and Minister of State for Flood Relief Vijay Kashyap will reach Uttarakhand. The three ministers will also visit the accident site. The relief amount declared by the UP government will be handed over to the kin of the deceased. 53 people of UP have been reported missing in complaints lodged in the control room.
CM Yogi has also met with officials. At the same time, UP officials will monitor in Haridwar. The commissioner and IG will also reach Haridwar to supervise.
