Lucknow: School of Management Sciences Lucknow celebrated 54th Engineer’s Day on 15th September 2021 with solemnity and reverence, to commemorate the 160th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshgundam Visvesvaraya, a scholar, statesman, educationist and perhaps the most celebrated civil engineer of India.
The event was marked by the garlanding of his portrait and speeches by dignitaries. Shri Sharad Singh, CEO, SMS, express good wishes to all the Engineering faculty & staff on this day. Professor (Dr.) Bharat Raj Singh, Director General (Tech) School of Management Sciences, Lucknow addressed the gathering about the pioneering works carried out by the luminary Bharat Ratna, Sir Mokshgundam Vishweswaraiya. He also inspired the fraternity of engineers to follow the footsteps of Sir M. Visvesvaraya and make meaningful contribution to the nation.
Dr. Hemant Kumar Singh, HOD through slide presentation listed the works of our great engineers of India who did remarkable work for building the nation. Other speakers Professor Dr. Dharmendra Singh, Dean-Academic, Dr. PK Singh, HOD-HAS, Dr Amarjeet Singh, HOD-EE and Mr. Pankaj Kumar Yadav HOD-ME, highlighted about the engineers day and urged the audience to ignite students by their creative thoughts, dedications and technical knowledge.
