61 districts in U.P unlock but not without precaution

Lucknow: Starting today 61 districts of UP have been unlocked with relaxation in Corona curfew. As per government’s new guidelines, barring districts with more than 600 corona cases, other districts have been relaxed in the corona curfew.

The districts have been relaxed on some conditions from seven in the morning to seven in the evening. Saturday and Sunday will be closed weekly. The ban on all activities in the Containment Zone will continue. Along with this, the night curfew will be in force from 7 in the evening till 7 in the morning the next day.

As per new guidelines, the shopkeepers and staff at the shops will ensure the provision of masks, the distance of two yards and use of sanitizer. The same requirement will be applicable for the customers as well. Work will be done in government departments with a maximum attendance of 50 percent. COVID help desk will be compulsorily set up in all the offices.

Offices of private companies will also open with the requirement of masks, distance of two yards and use of sanitizers. Work from home for private companies will continue. Industrial institutions will remain open and employees working here will be allowed to move on the basis of ID card or certificate of the unit. The Covid help desk will be compulsorily installed. Vegetable markets will remain open but vegetable markets operating in densely populated areas will be set up in open spaces.

Roadways buses will be allowed to operate only at the prescribed seat capacity. During operations, the driver, operators will be required to use masks, gloves. A register will be arranged at the Covid help desk at all places. Here, suspicious and symptomatic persons will not be allowed to enter and immediately the CMO will be informed. Branches and offices of banks, insurance companies, payment systems and other financial service providers will be opened following the Covid protocol. Only home delivery will be allowed from restaurants. Egg, meat and fish shops will be allowed to open after taking care of adequate cleanliness and sanitisation. No shopkeeper will sell it in the open. Shops of products and agricultural plants related to fertilizers, seeds and other agricultural investments will remain open. All government and private construction work will be allowed to be done according to the Covid-19 protocol.

There will be a ban on the gathering of more than 5 devotees at one place inside the shrines in other places and areas except the Containment Zone. Two-wheeler riders will be allowed to wear helmets, masks, face covers as per the prescribed seat capacity. At the same time, maximum 2 passengers will be allowed with the driver in auto rickshaw, 3 passengers including driver in battery rickshaw and only 4 passengers will be allowed on four wheelers.

The presence of individuals in wedding ceremonies and other events will be with the prescribed conditions. In closed and open places, a maximum of 25 people will be allowed to attend a wedding at a time using masks, distance of two yards and using sanitizers. During this time the COVID-19 protocol has to be followed with precautions. It will be mandatory to follow two yards in the seating arrangement of the invited guests at the event, venue. Sanitation and cleanliness should be maintained in the toilets. The organizers will have full responsibility for complying with the above conditions and restrictions. Following the protocol of Kovid-19 in the funeral procession, only a maximum of 20 people will be able to attend.

Coaching institutes, cinemas, gyms, swimming pools, clubs and shopping malls will be completely closed. Permission for online studies in secondary and higher educational institutions coaching institutes will be allowed as per departmental orders. Basic, secondary, higher education teachers and staff will be allowed to come to school for administrative work. Permission will also be given to open administrative offices of schools.
