Lucknow: After winning Punjab Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party has started planning for strength in UP. AAP will start membership drive in UP from April 2. In the party’s state executive meeting, UP in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said soon big decisions will be taken in the organization. The party will be strengthened through membership drive. In the coming Municipal Elections, the party will come out with full preparation.
All the district presidents and all the candidates of the assembly elections attended the meeting. Sanjay Singh said that everyone should get involved from now to strengthen the organization. Appealing to all the office bearers to prepare for the municipal elections, he said that the party would soon take a decision on how to contest the elections and what would be the strategy. Every worker has to take responsibility, he said.
Encouraging the office bearers, he said that the performance of the party in Punjab has made Aam Aadmi Party an alternative at the national level.
