After 2 years, Fiesta 2022 opens at Integral University
LUCKNOW, MARCH 24: Festive fervour ran high in the air as the 12000-strong campus of the Integral University came alive on Thursday with the inauguration of the annual festival FIESTA.
The Chief Guest at the function was Dr. NC Prajapati, Director General, Medical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Guests of Honour included Dr. Alok Kumar, Secretary/ Registrar UP State Medical Faculty, and Mrs. Azra Waseem, Founder, Techno Academic School, Lucknow . Also present on the momentous occasion were the Chancellor, Prof. S. Waseem Akhtar, Pro-Chancellor Syed Nadeem Akhtar, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Javed Musarrat, Registrar, Prof. Mohd. Haris Siddiqui faculty and staff of Integral university. It was after two years that FIESTA was being held in an offline mode and the excitement of participating in the annual cultural-literary and sports extravaganza was palpable on the campus.
Speaking on the occasion the Hon’ble Chancellor, Integral University said, he was extremely happy to invite students to “FIESTA-2022”, the grand annual cultural, literary, artistic, and sports festival
Inviting the students to FIESTA 2022, the Hon’ble Chancellor, Integral University, Prof. S. W. Akhtar extorted students to participate in events locally, as well as in other universities and colleges. He said it gave him great pleasure to once again witness the university’s annual festival FIESTA-2022, which reflected and celebrated the spirit of youth in providing a platform to the students to nurture and harness their innate talents.
Prof (Dr) M. A. Khalid Dean, Student’s Welfare and Faculty Patron for the Festival welcomed the students at the “annual cultural, technical, literary and sports festival “FIESTA- 2022” being organized at Integral University, Lucknow from 24th to 26th March, 2022. He elaborated that the festival, boasting of a plethora of events, is planned, performed and enjoyed by the students, which helps develop leadership and team building qualities among them by unlocking their creativity and sporting talents. “To me events like Fiesta are de rigueur in promoting the exchange of cultures, practices and diversity of knowledge amongst the galaxy of participating students from various reputed universities /colleges/institutions. This festival held every year with much grandeur further helps in strengthening the spirit of national integration and patriotism among our youngsters, who are the future torch bearers of the nation,” he stated.
The pre-festival highlight was a plantation drive by the Department of Bioengineering and the Integral Institute of Agricultual Science and Technology at the Integral farm on Kursi Road.

Integral University, which started from an engineering college in 1998 to a full-fledged University in 2004, is today a premier NAAC accredited University in Uttar Pradesh. It is recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
