After mapping global sphere, Team Yogi to scale India ahead of Global Investor Summit

Lucknow: In order to attract investors in view of the Global Investors Summit-2023 (UPGIS-2023) to be held in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow from February 10 to 12, the Uttar Pradesh government is preparing to hold roadshows in six-ten states next month. In fact, on Thursday, eight teams of the Uttar Pradesh government will make presentations before Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath about the investment proposals received during roadshows in 22 cities in 17 countries earlier this month.

Road shows will be held in ten states

Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner Arvind Kumar said that the state government is getting ready to organize state level road shows in six to 10 states in January 2023. All the eight teams that returned from the international roadshow will make a presentation on Thursday about the total investment proposals received there. Eight teams of the Uttar Pradesh government visited 17 countries from December 8 to 19 and did roadshows at important places. The delegation was led by Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana and Finance Minister Suresh Khanna. Various teams have made their own claims regarding investment proposals received abroad.

Major cities visited by the UP delegation included London (UK), New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco (USA), Dubai (UAE), Montreal and Vancouver (Canada), The Hague (Netherlands), Paris (France), Tokyo ( Japan), Frankfurt (Germany). ), Brussels (Belgium), Mexico City (Mexico), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Singapore.

Yogi government has done three ground breaking ceremonies so far

In fact, in Uttar Pradesh in 2017, when the BJP government was formed under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, the exercise to bring investment in UP started. Including the first and second terms, this time the third ground breaking ceremony was organized in UP in 6 years. The foundation stone of 80 thousand projects was laid in this programme, efforts will be made to get these projects on the ground in the next five years. Before this, the investor summit was organized twice during the first term of Yogi.
