After six months of training, U.P. police get new police constables

Lucknow: After six months of training,  the UP Police got 15487 new police constables. The passing out parade of uniformed men who completed 6 months of training at 76 places including 15 recruit training centers took place. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took the salute of the passing out parade of 399 constables of PAC at Lucknow Police Lines.

CM Yogi praised the parade on this occasion and encouraged the soldiers. He said that the previous governments had abolished 54 companies of PAC. It was a conspiracy to breach the security of UP. But we started recruiting again. Recruitment was stalled before 2017. We recruited without discrimination. 15487 PAC jawans passed out. They have been made a part of PAC directly. On this occasion, 399 jawans of 16 units saluted the CM in Lucknow. At the forefront was the band’s contingent. On this occasion many police officers including Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi, DGP DS Chauhan and Police Commissioner DK Thakur were present.
