Akash Goenka appointed CII. UP President and Smita Agarwal Vice President

Lucknow: Akash Goenka, Managing Director, Shubham Goldie Masale Pvt. Ltd. took over as the President of CII for the year 2023-24, while  Smita Agarwal, Director & Chief Financial Officer, PTC Industries Ltd. Vice President took over the charge of Vice President.

Goenka’s goal is to give all possible support to the government in realizing the development of “New Uttar Pradesh” so that the government can achieve its target of 1 trillion economy. His action plan as the President of CII-UP for the year 2023-24 will also focus on the “Transform, Re-form and Perform” agenda of the government.

Smita Agarwal believes that active participation of CII and Government will play a vital role in making Uttar Pradesh a preferred investment destination. Uttar Pradesh today has immense potential and CII is committed to partnering with the government to truly realize those limitless possibilities.
