All round development of Bahraich a priority area – Keshav Prasad Maurya
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, along with Minister of State (Independent Charge) Backward Class Welfare and Disability Empowerment Department, Narendra Kashyap, in a meeting held with the district officials in the Collectorate Auditorium, directed that all the officials should work for the all-round development of the aspirational district Bahraich. Working with team spirit, the benefits of the schemes run by the Government of India and the State Government should be extended to all the needy people of the society. Keshav Prasad Maurya said that while implementing government schemes, priority should be given to villages, poor, farmers, women and needy people. Efforts should be made to ensure that no eligible person is deprived of the benefits of government schemes. The government is working with full commitment for the all-round development of the district.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that there is a lot to be done in Bahraich, an educationally and economically backward agricultural district. The officers posted in the district should work for the betterment of the flood affected people and farmers by better coordinating with the public representatives. Keshav Prasad Maurya said that people’s problems should be resolved at the district level in such a way that no complainant needs to come to Lucknow. He instructed all the officers to resolve public problems with full sensitivity. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the problems at the block, police station, tehsil and district level should be resolved in such a way that the complainant does not feel the need to go to a higher level.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that while on one hand the country is moving towards becoming a world leader under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the other hand Uttar Pradesh is moving towards becoming an ideal state of the country under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said that the officers and public representatives of the district should work to make the district an ideal district. Keshav Prasad Maurya directed the officials that all eligible farmers should be covered under the Prime Minister’s Samman Nidhi and the Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme.
He said that needy and eligible people should benefit from housing schemes as well as pension schemes. The Deputy Chief Minister appreciated the service saturation campaign being conducted in the district on the innovative initiative of the DM and suggested other officers to also do innovation. Said that work should be done on war footing on all parameters of development. Keshav Prasad Maurya reviewed various schemes and gave necessary guidelines to the concerned officials.
During the meeting, District Magistrate Monica Rani assured the Deputy Chief Minister that the instructions received through the meeting will be ensured. On this occasion, the DM along with the CDO and other officials presented a bouquet, artwork made under ODOP and a memento of Ram Darbar. The Deputy Chief Minister also inspected the rangoli carved in the Collectorate premises along with other public representatives and officials.
On this occasion, MLA Payagpur Subhash Tripathi, Shyamkaran Tekdiwal, Superintendent of Police Prashant Verma, Chief Development Officer Kavita Meena, CRO Awadhesh Kumar Mishra, ASP City Gyananjay Singh, Rural Pavitra Mohan Tripathi, Municipal Magistrate Shalini Prabhakar, CO City Rajeev Sisodia, District Development Officer. Mahendra Kumar Pandey, PD DRDA Rajkumar, DC MNREGA K.D. Goswami, DCNRLM Ramendra Kushwaha and other officers, representative of District Panchayat President Manju Singh Kunwar Karanveer Singh and other concerned were present.
