Amazon Prime India chief quizzed over Tandav controversy in Hazratganj Police station

Lucknow: Amazon Prime’s India head Aparna Purohit reached the Hazratganj Kotwali on Tuesday afternoon to record her statement in the Tandav web series controversy. Judge Dinesh Kumar Singh of the single bench of the Allahabad High Court ordered Purohit to record the statement. The police have prepared a list of 100 questions.

Reportedly the High Court judge  ordered  evidence and investigation into whatever statements were being made in the case filed. Hazratganj in-charge Inspector Shyam Babu Shukla spoke about Aparna Purohit reachng to record her statement.

The inspector informed that questioning of Aparna Purohit has started. Interrogator Anil Kumar Singh has started the inquiry. The police have kept a list of 100 questions. Continuously questions will be asked.

Reportedly FIR was filed on 18 January in Lucknow Hazratganj police station. The case was filed on behalf of Amarnath Yadav under various sections against  Amazon Prime’s India head Aparna Purohit.

The Tandav web series director Ali Abbas, producer Himanshu Krishna Mehar and writer Gaurav Solanki have all been the dock eversince the case came to light.
