America’s Predator Drones might have a desi touch to it soon

New Delhi: India also wants to include indigenous things in American drones. It is reported that on Tuesday the Indian Navy has said that they want 60 per cent Indian components in these Predator drones. It is being said that in this mega deal with America, India will get 30 drones for about $ 6 billion. A committee has been formed under the leadership of Lieutenant General to review the entire deal.

According to a media report, Vice Admiral SN Ghormade said, ‘We are still working on that ‘Acquire Predator Drones’ project. We are looking at how it can be made indigenous and what facilities can be created in India. These are the capabilities that we need. He said, ‘We are working with our country’s companies and DRDO. We want 60 percent Make in India component.

According to the initial plans, India was planning to buy 30 Predator high altitude long-endurance drones with strong capabilities. Both the leaders appreciated the historic agreement between Air India and Boeing, which will help in creating new employment opportunities in both the countries.

Boeing and Air India have reached an agreement, according to an announcement by the US President’s Office ‘White House’, under which Air India will buy 220 aircraft from Boeing for $34 billion. These include 190 B737 Max, 20 B787, and 10 B777X. The deal will have an option to buy 70 more aircraft, taking the total transaction value to $45.9 billion.
