Amity University Lucknow Campus lets the good times roll with city’s most happening college fest, Amiphoria

Lucknow: Amity University Lucknow campus’ Amiphoria 2023 with the theme Jashn-e-Zindagi 2.0, kicked-off with the inauguration ceremony amidst much fanfare.

Eminent guests, faculty members, staff and students were present at the venue, the central stage. The Guest of honor was,  Sangeeta Banerjee, Principal City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar extension, and  Aruna Gupta .

The masters of ceremony of the inaugural session were Ajit Yadav and Jasmin.

The traditional dance, was followed by the lighting of the lamp and the cake cutting ceremony and then an address by Dean Student Welfare Prof (Dr.) Manju Agarwal, which further added to the already soaring spirit of the participants.

Dy. Pro. Vice Chancellor Wg. Cdr. Anil Tiwari  commended the presenting of a plant sapling, a symbol of life uniquely symmetrical to amiphoria’s Jashn-e-Zindagi theme, as a token of gratitude in his speech. He was deeply  impressed with the traditional touching of feet and blessing that were rained on by the student by the teacher.

Following it was a series of traditional and retro and contemporary dances, instrumental band performance, and a mimicry by the anchor, which attracted the gathering.

SangeetaBanerjee, the guest of honor, appreciated the efforts of the University by saying,“ Amity University has always been known for doing everything in style on a large scale with a lot of glamour,”, her words succeeded in boosting the morale of the audience.

Then after the vote of the thanks was delivered by Dr. Deepti Rana Pandey Ma’am, “Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a gift and not presenting it, ”she said. She appreciated everyone’s work in frontas well as behind the scenes in making Amiphoria the miracle of the moment.

The showstopper was the performance by Amity alumni Shaurya Saxena, a multi-taleneted artist. Further events that were lined up were; Fun-zoid, Filmichakkar, Skit, Abhijaya, Rostroexpressivo, Pixel champions, Amipod, Reel it, Amity idol season 4, Expressions (exhibition), Xuberance, Innovation of 3d modelling and Create your own style. Photo-booth competition was also held.

All the events were extremely engaging and electrifying. Prize money, kinds and goodies were given to all the winners and the runner ups. The judges and sponsors were also felicitated by the hosts and event co-ordinators. Our major sponsors were Indian Oil Company, Hindustan Times, Axis Bank, LSG,  Servo, Kick-off, Gyan, Instax, Hero Motor, LIC, SS Immigration, The Roadster, Sahara Hospital, Lucknow Super Giants, Engineer Solar Wala, and VLCC to name a few.

The most awaited event was Mr. And Ms. Amity Xuberence.
