Amity University Lucknow Campus party’s hard at Amiphoria closing day

Lucknow: The Day three of Amiphoria 2023 marked the  finale of the three-day Mega-fest of Amity University Lucknow. On the central Stage was held Expressions by Amity Institute of Information Technology which gave the participants a platform to share their talents of mimicry, mono acting, standup comedy, magic show, their musical flair which was duly rewarded.

The auditorium saw events like moot court, and AB1 foyer held the events Synergy 2.0, judged by Chinmoyee Biswas (Founder of Nirguna), Lavina Jain and Abhilasha Agarwal.  Legathon and Tech Rangoli was hosted by Amity institute of Education, Amity Law School, and Amity School of Applied Sciences .

Sonali Yadav, HOD Dept. Legal Studies, Seth MR Jaipuria,  was the judge of the Legathon and crowned Ark Singh as the winner while Dev Upadhyay was declared the runner-up. While Amity School of Hospitality  organized Star of The Bar season 4, a cocktail/mocktail making and flaring competition to enhance the vocational skills of the participants, the winner of the event  Narzis Zehra was awarded with trophies and certificates, crowned by the judge  Aditya Raj Singh, Manager Futura, Lulu Mall.

Hideaway on Mars, judged by Prakhar Agarwal alumni of Amity University,organized by Amity School of Architecture and Planning , sponsored by Mac Mudit and Tattoo Studio, was won by Kaustubh Srivastava and Vaishnavi Sahu.

Elixirs of Nature hosted by Amity School of Languages,  J P Gupta and  Gaurav Rawat, was won by Shivangi Pandey(BFA animations), and PratyashaPaul,BA (H) Eng. Secured the second position.

White Hats organized by Amity Institute of Information Technology, judged by Mr. Nitin Pandey And MS. Asya Tyagi, both from Cyber Peace Foundation, and was won by Parth Nigam(AIP), while the runner-up was Amant Tripathi(AIIT) and Syed Ali Asad(ASAS) was awarded the consolation prize.Tech-Rangoli organized by Amity Institute of Applied Science, judged by Dr. Pooja Verma (director ASFT) and Prof(DR.) Asita Kulshreshtha(director ASAS) was won by Mihir Kumar, Aman Sharma, Arvind Lovewanshi and Ojita Singh. The Painting Competition hosted by Amity School of Fine Arts was won by Deependra Dubey.

Xpressions judged by  Tulika Banerjee, best known for her role as Bobby Deol’s wife in Aashram and a judge in Madam Chief Minister, and  Gaurav Johari organized by Amity Institute of Information Technology, at Central Stage, was won by Hammad Alam.

The valedictory session was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Dy. Pro. VC Wg. Cdr. Anil Kumar Tiwari, Chairperson of Amiphoria 2023 and Dean Student Welfare Prof(Dr) Manju Agarwal, Dean Academics Prof(Dr) Rajesh Tiwari, Directors, Dy. Directors HODs, HOIs  of all the institutes, faculty members and students.

The event started with the blessings of Lord Ganesha in the form of Kathak Dance. Welcome address was delivered by Dean Student Welfare Prof(Dr) Manju Agarwal. A plethora of  events were organized like Photostory and Instagram reels which brought out the creative side. It was an Amity School of Communication inittiative.

The sponsors  were felicitated by momentos and trophies. Awards were also given for different Categories. For the first time the category “photo-booth decoration competition” was held in this three-day mega fest which was judged by Col. Mehrish,  Nishi Singh and Archana Dhir . Amity School of Architecture and Planning and Amity Law School won the first and the second prize respectively. For the another category “Best Institutes in terms of revenue generation and participants”  Amity Institute of Pharmacy secured first position and Amity School of Applied Sciences secured the second position.

Felicitation of Directors of different departments CRC, Administration, IT support, Security Support, Proctorial Board, PR and Communications, Accounts and Procurements was also done by the organizing committee.

The Organizing Committee members of Amiphoria 2023 Chairperson Prof(Dr.) Manju Agarwal, Dr. Rajiv Verma, Prof. Pooja Verma Dr. Deepti Pandey Rana, Dr. Sangeeta Bajpai, Dr. Saba Hasan, Dr. Reshma Umair, Dr. Anupriya Yadav, Dr. Janki Srivastava,  Archana Dhir and  Soumen Bhattacharya were honoured by Dy. Pro VC Wg. Cdr. Anil Kumar Tiwari . The Students of Organizing Committee Amal Singh Patel, Aayush Agarwal, Faizan Arif, Rajarshi Tripathi, Devansh Tripathi, Samridhi Rastogi, Sanskar Awasthi, Raghav Agarwal, Prakhar Singh, Juhi Dwivedi, Deepak Shukla, Sanah Ahmed, Priyanshi Pandey, Arnav Arora, Harsh Singh, and Komal Singhal were also felicitated by Prof(Dr) Manju Agarwal.

At the end of the day 3 Siddarth Slathia, founder of Synk Records, a Indian Classical and Pop Singer, famous for his  Bhojpuri song “Lollipop Lagelu” and Swatterex, a delhi based DJ, who has recently released his album “THE PARADOX” know for his Hip-Hop and Edm Music, with set the musical bar high with hits like “PlayDate” and “Baaten ye kabhi Na” .
