Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Government’s Industrial Development Minister, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, while discussing the demand for grant of 20,586 crores of the Industrial Development Department in the Vidhan Sabha , kept his point forward. Minister Nandi said that SP, BSP, Congress ruled Uttar Pradesh for a long time and the state’s progress was held back by casteism, familyism, corruption and criminalization like termites. He said that these anti-development selfish forces have made the state hollow from within. What was the misery and plight of Uttar Pradesh in the government of the Samajwadi Party, which used to talk big while sitting on the chair of the opposition? These people have not forgotten yet.
Nandi said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath not only broke the myth of going to Noida but again took over the reins of the state with a thumping majority. Along with this, with his vision, Noida was included in the selected cities of the world. The Industrial Development Minister alleged that in the SP government, one uncle looked after Noida and the other uncle looked after Greater Noida. Every evening the karmic accounts were done. Today the same Noida and Greater Noida are emerging as gateways of prosperity of Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi.
Minister Nandi said that Uttar Pradesh had become a state of riots during the time of Samajwadi Party. The game of extortion from businessmen and traders was going on under the protection of power. The goons, mafia and criminals were the apple of the eye of the SP government. No investor, industrialist wanted to come here. The government’s credibility among investors was zero.
He said that the talk of credibility from the mouth of those who did not belong to their father, who did not belong to their uncle, does not suit at all. When Brand UP was being discussed globally. When the changed environment of Uttar Pradesh was being appreciated all around. Even at such a time, the opposition party left no stone unturned to tarnish the image of the state. But, despite all the propaganda, the country’s biggest investor summit was successfully organized in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. 10 important countries like UK, Australia, Japan, Italy, UAE, Netherlands, Denmark, South Korea, Mauritius, Singapore participated as partner countries and our government set a record of investment.
The Industrial Development Minister said that for GIS 2023, international road-shows were organized in 21 cities of 16 countries of the world. Along with this, investor summits were organized in 10 metropolitan cities of India and all 75 districts of the state. This is the reason why record investment proposals worth Rs 33 lakh 52 thousand 553 crore were received in the Global Investor Summit 2023. This is a clear proof of the state’s rapid growth and good governance. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi, we are moving ahead with concrete steps towards organizing the ground breaking ceremony within 6 months.
Minister Nandi said that expressways have emerged as the signature of Uttar Pradesh. Today, Uttar Pradesh alone has 37.7 percent of the total expressways of the country. Work is underway on 7 new expressways, with the construction of which about 50 percent of the country’s expressways will be in Uttar Pradesh. With the inauguration of the Bundelkhand and Purvanchal Expressway by the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the light of industrial development will reach even the remote rural areas of these areas. This shows the commitment of Chief Minister Yogi towards the all-round development of the state.
During this, Nandi also narrated the achievements of his government through a poem. He said, “The one who united everyone by erasing caste differences. One who has taken this resolution is to walk on the path of development. Bribery is hooliganism which has ended. Broke the back of corruption, destroyed the crimes.
