Any laxity in Labour Welfare work to attract action warns Sunil Bharala

Lucknow: The President  of the Uttar Pradesh Labor Welfare Council, Sunil Bharala has asked for the login id of all labor enforcement officers to check the online applications received for the schemes run by the council. He said that according to the target set in the current financial year, the officers have to receive the applications of the beneficiaries, in case of less beneficiary selection, action will be taken against the concerned officer.

The President of the Labor Council, Bharala, was holding the 78th meeting of the Council in the auditorium at Indira Bhavan. Various points were discussed in the meeting for the benefit of the council workers. During this, it was decided to organize a big program in Lucknow on 29th August, National Sports Day under Chetan Chauhan Khel Protsahan Yojana.

Also, discussions were held on providing benefits of the council’s schemes to the workers working in nursing homes/schools. It was decided by the council to organize cultural programs on the occasion of birth anniversary of great men by December 2021 at the Mandal Headquarters. He said that in the applications received till July 2021, a total amount of Rs 11.72 lakh has been approved to 99 eligible beneficiaries.

Bharala informed that the daughters of the workers who are recurrent will be given the benefit of Mahadevi Verma Book Purchase Financial Assistance Scheme from the UP Shop Commercial Establishment Act, 1962. Also, according to the policy of the government, the benefits of the schemes of the council will be available only up to two daughters.

In the current financial year, it has been decided to extend the last date of receipt of applications for the schemes of the Council to 30 September 2021.
