Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to speed up the pace of corona vaccination in the state. By the end of November, setting a target of giving the first dose of corona vaccine to 100 percent of the eligible people, it has been asked to be completed. National Health Mission (NHM) UP’s GM (Vaccination) Dr. Manoj Shukla has informed that vaccination booths have been set up for the convenience of the people in the area itself, where the first and second doses are being given.
Now NGOs will also enter the fray to increase the speed of Covid vaccination in the state. These organizations will work with the state government to make people aware about vaccination. More than 10 thousand workers of NGOs will mobilize across the state in this campaign. Due to the cluster model, vaccination has increased in the state since November.
Cluster model, vaccination camps in school colleges, more booths in villages as well as vaccination is being done till 10 pm in District Joint Hospital to ensure that no one is left out from anti-coronavirus vaccination. Vaccination is being done at one center in every district till 10 pm.
A list of those who have not received the first dose of vaccination so far is being prepared so that all can be vaccinated. A separate list is being prepared for those whose second dose has been overdue. Other states of the country are far behind in vaccination than Uttar Pradesh with a population of 24 crores. So far more than 15 crore 14 lakh vaccinations have been done in UP. In which so far more than 10 crore 69 lakh first doses and more than 04 crore 45 lakh second doses have been given.
