Army Public School Cantt students visit Tagore Library
Lucknow: Tagore Library, Lucknow University is celebrating National Library Week from 14-20 November 2023. In this sequence, as part of social participation, more than 100 students of different classes from Army Public School Cantt, Lucknow visited the Tagore Library.
During the tour, the students were surprised to see the rare artefacts and art objects kept in the art gallery and museum located in Tagore Library. The students were very excited to see the original copy of the Indian Constitution kept in the art gallery.
The children were astonished to see the huge reading hall of the library. They were astonished to see more than 5 lakh books in the stack room divided into three floors inside the library.
During the visit, the children saw the newspaper of August 15, 1947 in the library. During the visit, teachers of Army Public School and Prof. D.R. Sahu, Dr. Jyoti Mishra, Dr. Praveesh Prakash and other employees of Tagore Library were present.
