Art of Living to Invest in Schools, Universities and Hospital in Uttar Pradesh under UP GIS 2023
Lucknow: Sri sri Ravishankar vidya trust of international organisation The Art of living has been invited by the Uttar Pradesh government to invest in the state through its Global Investors Summit 2023. The trust, established under the guidance of spiritual master Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, has been providing quality education for over 25 years and has more than 100 schools across the country. The trust sees the invitation from the Uttar Pradesh government as a great opportunity to expand its reach and offer quality education to even more students in the state.
Commodore HG Harsha, Chairman of the Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Vidya Trust, expressed his excitement at the prospect of establishing two universities and multiple schools in Uttar Pradesh. The universities will be set up with an investment of 400 crores, with the first one preferably located in Devipatan area. The trust will start with establishing five schools in the state with an investment of 100 crores, providing employment for 1000 people. The schools will be affiliated with CBSE, ICSE, and UP Board and will offer a well-rounded education to students in the state.
In addition to the universities and schools, the trust is also interested in investing in an Ayurvedic college and hospital in Uttar Pradesh. The state’s healthcare facilities can greatly benefit from such an investment, and the trust is eager to contribute to the betterment of the state’s health and wellbeing. The Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of AYUSH, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Aradhana Shukla, has extended an invitation to the trust in this regard.
