Lucknow: Hundreds of people associated with art, film, dance, literature and music will gather from across the country in the three-day festival.
Artists from Lucknow are also participating in the “Srijanotsav” program to be held from 29 to 31 October 2023 at Dalsingh Sarai Samastipur (Bihar). Among the artists from Lucknow will be senior artist Umesh Kumar Saxena, Dr. Sanjeev Kishore Gautam, Amit Kumar, painter and curator Bhupendra Kumar Asthana, Kathak dancer Raghavendra Pratap Singh, Rahul Shakya.
The program is being organized by the Visual Arts Foundation. Foundation President Artist Mohd. Suleman said that like every year, this year hundreds of people associated with art, film, dance, literature and music from across the country are participating in the 13th Sharadiya Navratri Mahotsav – 2023.
This time a three-day program will be organized in which on the first day on 29th October from 10:30 am at Bhavya Resort Dalsinghsarai, all the Durga Puja committees involved in the Inter District Level Shardiya Navratri Mahotsav 2023 and all the puja committees involved in the Krishna Janmashtami festival will be encouraged to encourage the artists.
A felicitation ceremony and prize distribution will be organised. In this function, various best performing Durga Puja committees, Krishna Janmashtami puja committees, sculptors and priests will be rewarded and honored. Along with this, national level famous painters, sculptors, art critics, actors, social service personalities etc. coming from many states of the country will also be honoured.
On the second day, there will be a tour of Mithila region of Madhubani painting, popular all over the world, and a program of meeting and talking to the art and artists there, and on the third day, a meaningful art dialogue program and workshop will also be conducted with the artists who came to the festival.
Apart from Lucknow, a large number of artists from Bihar, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, New Delhi and Kolkata will also be present in this program. This type of event will lead to mutual artistic introduction and encouragement of art and artists as well as a series of progress and development of art.
