As a probable next in line, BJP National leadership will find it difficult to ignore Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow: The BJP’s massive defeat in the Karnataka assembly elections has dealt a severe body blow to its plans to expand in the south. Don’t know how many dreams were broken by the BJP’s defeat there.
Within a year, the party of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah got leave from three states one after the other.
In Bihar, Nitish Kumar broke ties with BJP and joined hands with RJD. There the BJP got out. BJP got defeated in Himachal Pradesh, after that it got a bigger defeat in Karnataka.
The successive defeats started raising questions on the leadership of the BJP. Even then, if there was any face saver for that defeat, it was the Uttar Pradesh Municipal Corporation.
According to strong sources, various affiliate organizations of the Sangh Parivar have started saying that the Gujarat lobby controlled by the BJP is pushing JP Nadda. This news is also not good for the party’s National General Secretary Organization BL Santosh.
He often faces th charge of excessively controlling the functioning of each state unit.
In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has drawn a big line. He is the most popular Chief Minister of all the BJP ruled states. The more they are needed in UP, the more demand arises for them from West Bengal.
Be it Maharashtra, Gujarat, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, South India or Northeast, Yogi is the only Chief Minister who is popular with both the workers and the public.
After creating a unique record of winning 17 out of 17 municipal corporations in the Uttar Pradesh municipal elections, the people of Uttar Pradesh have put their stamp on the Yogi model.
Yogi also registered a bumper victory in the municipalities. In Akhilesh’s bastion Mainpuri, Etawah, Firozabad, Sonia Gandhi-Rahul Gandhi’s bastion Rae Bareli-Sultanpur-Amethi, Yogi has managed to breach fortress after fortress. It is well known that the BJP as an organization is divided.
In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath does not interfere at all in the organizational decisions of the BJP except Gorakhpur. But the responsibility of making the party win rests on his shoulder. If BJP loses somewhere then local leader and National President JP Nadda is responsible, if it wins then it wins because of the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister and BJP’s Chanakya Amit Shah.
What the BJP central leadership has done in Uttar Pradesh does not reflect their intentions for the state. In the message given by Home Minister Amit Shah on Twitter after the big victory of the municipal corporation in Uttar Pradesh, Yogi was declared the undisputed number two.
Shah wrote that congratulations to State President Bhupendra Singh and his team and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the grand victory of UP. In a hurry, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also called Uttar Pradesh BJP President Bhupendra Singh and congratulated him on the grand victory of the UP municipal elections.
This haste shows that the intention of the Center towards Yogi is not as pure as it should be. It is not hidden from anyone that Yogi Adityanath, who has indomitable courage regarding law and order, has established him in the hearts of most of the people not only in Uttar Pradesh but also in the hearts of the people of the country.
Yogi has removed the fear of mafia from the mind of the public. In a state which has had a tradition of a dealing room, a personal cashier next to the Chief Minister’s room for years, it is not a common achievement for the Chief Minister to suddenly question dishonest people. There is also an opposite side to this. Complaints of costly bribery are received from police stations-tehsils and other places of the state.
With a sudden churn in the state and a strong diktat spelt out, achievements have established himself on the national platform. Where it is clear that the Chief Minister is not entitled to even a single penny. In the previous governments from 2007 to 2012 and from 2012 to 2017, bribes were taken saying that the money would go up.
From 2007 to 2017, there were hardly any projects in which the allocated budget money was not increased later. The practice of dishonesty had become a tradition. Hatha Yogi has broken this myth with his soul power.
According to Yogi Adityanath, the day, the blueprint of economic investment in the state will take shape, on that day Yogi will become a development man with his honest, person image. Another unblemished achievement in Yogi’s practice is that no Ambani-Adani has the capacity to tutor him.
After all this, if the national leadership sidelines Yogi, then it will be difficult to get positive results. After coming to power in Bihar and losing the assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka, the dilemma on which the BJP is stuck is that the BJP is losing in a state where it does not have an able leadership. In such a situation where Yogi Adityanath, a committed, unblemished fiery Hindutva Chief Minister, who destroyed the SP-RLD-BSP alliance in 2022, returned a government again in UP after 1989.
