Mrs Bhatia said that the newly expanded area is the responsibility of the Municipal Corporation. Municipal officials have been directed to ensure that the cleaning work is done here effectively. At this time cleanliness is of special importance during the corona epidemic. During the Corona pandemic period, the Municipal Corporation is being effectively sanitized in the expanded areas.

Keeping in view the monsoon, instructions have been given to make the cleanliness effective for the prevention of communicable diseases. Budget allocation has also been made in the budget of the Municipal Corporation for development works in the extended area. Special attention is being paid to lighting and cleaning work in these areas. Further work will be done as per requirement.

In the above special cleanliness drive, the village Dhanwa on Faizabad road was filled with rain water and the only means of drainage is the drain which was found to be completely clogged. Villagers were pouring water into the fields by running pumping sets. Seal and other rubbish of about two meters wide drain built near the village was removed, due to which the rain water which was filled in village Dhanwa started coming out. At the same time, garbage was lifted on Faizabad road from Matiyari Chauraha to Indira Canal by sweeping the road strip and at all other places also.
