As SP takes to streets, BJP says no room for anarchy

Lucknow: All Samajwadi Party MLAs and Legislative Council members took out a foot march under the leadership of party chief Akhilesh Yadav on various issues including unemployment, inflation, crimes against women and the condition of law and order. Heavy security forces have been deployed outside the SP headquarters for the SP’s march. After some time the police also stopped the march. After stopping the march, Akhilesh sat on a dharna. Speaking on inflation, Akhilesh said that he had never thought that GST would be taken on milk too.

Here BJP said about this party’s march that Akhilesh’s issue is not related to the public. At the same time, Yogi also attacked the SP. Before the start of the session, CM Yogi said that the monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature is starting today. Keeping the aspirations and expectations of 25 crore people of Uttar Pradesh in the house, all the members will get an opportunity to connect their sentiments with the sentiments of the common people through those problems. Regarding the march of SP, Yogi said that there is no place for anarchy in the state.

Regarding the march of SP, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that Akhilesh’s issue is not related to the public. Maurya said that the Samajwadi Party, which is protesting in the name of March, is not connected with the interests of the public. If he has to discuss any issue related to the public, then it should be done in the House, which should become a part of the proceedings. The government is ready for discussion.

SP’s national secretary Rajendra Chaudhary had said on Sunday that the party’s assembly and legislative council members would reach the assembly on foot to attend the monsoon session of the legislature starting on Monday from the party’s state headquarters. This padyatra will be led by party president Akhilesh Yadav. He told that there will be placards in the hands of the legislators and the members of the Legislative Council, who will be involved in the foot march, in which unemployment, inflation, exploitation of women, poor law and order, education, health disturbances, electricity crisis, farmers and youth are facing injustice. Related issues will be mentioned.

Chaudhary said that this padyatra will start from the party office and pass in front of the Gandhi statue located at Raj Bhavan and GPO. It is worth mentioning that the SP MLAs were to stage a sit-in in front of the statue of Chaudhary Charan Singh at Vidhan Bhavan from September 14 to 18, but the administration stopped them from doing so, citing various orders, after which the party canceled its program. But decided to take out the journey. SP’s national spokesperson Chaudhary said that in the current session of the legislature, the party will vigorously raise the problems of the people. He told that the BJP government in the state is working with the spirit of revenge. The entire state has been shaken by the incidents of murder, robbery, kidnapping and rape.
