At Team 9 meeting CM Yogi lays out stress areas that need immediate attention
Lucknow: As a state government that has almost completed 50 days in power and is planning for the 100 day targets, the Team 9 has increased its frequency of meetings keeping in mind forward planning for a better Uttar Pradesh. In the top priority meeting in the presence of the chief minister several important pointers were stressed on. CM Yogi said that a town planner should be posted in every development authority/urban body. While deciding the projects, keep in mind the situation of the next 50 years, do not allow illegal colonies to develop.
He said Illegal taxi stand, bus stand, rickshaw stand etc. should be abolished immediately, illegal recovery and mafia/criminal tendencies are involved at such stands, they should be identified and strictest action should be taken without delay. Ensure permanent parking space.
For the problem of encroachment on the roads, proper arrangements should be made for their rehabilitation by marking the place for the street vendors. Make sure that every shop is within its limits by communicating with the traders, Yogi said.
He said, “Senior officers of the traffic department should get down in the field. Government level departmental officers should go to the districts.”
He said – The officers of Animal Husbandry Department should be sent to the field as nodal officers of the districts, go to the districts, investigate the arrangements in the cow shelter sites, get the straw bank built, take strictest action against the people involved in heinous crime like cow smuggling.
Meanwhile Yogi has strictly said – Under the ‘Har Ghar Nal Yojna’ operated for the supply of pure drinking water, the pits dug for the pipeline should be filled before the rainy season, so that people do not get inconvenienced. Cleaning of drains should also be done in time.
