Ayodhya witness to crucial meeting to discuss development works

Ayodhya: Village Chaupal was organized by the Rural Development Department at the Panchayat Bhawan of Lutfabad Bachhauli and Gunndhor Gram Panchayat of the block area.

The apathy of some departments was seen during the village chaupal, which was included in the priority of the government. Officials of the Revenue Department, Police Department, Health Department remained absent from the village chaupal.

The development works done in the Gram Panchayat were verified in the village chaupal organized. Public welfare schemes being provided to the needy were also reviewed. The works done under MNREGA scheme were also verified. An account of the works  was also presented. Under the State Livelihood Mission, providing self-employment to women through self-help groups, free boring, old age, disabled, widow pension, Prime Minister’s scheme residence, Kisan Samman Nidhi, construction of toilets, handpumps for drinking water and other public welfare schemes running in the village were reviewed.

A complaint was raised by village head Lavkush Yadav that under Jal Jeevan Mission Yojana, the issue of digging and damaging the link roads to lay pipes in the village was raised by the contractors of the Karyadai Sanstha under Har Ghar Nal Yojana.

It was told that the contractors go away leaving half the work incomplete, due to which people have to face a lot of problems in commuting. The public problems of the village were also noted by the villagers. Which was assured to be removed by the officials.

ADO Panchayat Ajay Tiwari, Avnish Shukla, Pradhan Lavkush Yadav, Seema Verma, Gram Panchayat Officer Jayprakash Verma, Bhim Singh Raunak, Rajaram Verma, Council School Teacher Anup Divedi, Headmaster Suresh Kumar, Rojgar Sevak Phoolchand, Panchayat Assistant, Anganwadi Workers, sweepers etc. were present.
