Baba Ramdev stirs up controversy with comments, faces FIR

Jaipur:  A local person lodged an FIR against Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev at Chauhtan police station in Barmer district of Rajasthan for inciting religious sentiments. At present, the police have registered the case and started investigation. Chauhtan police officer Bhutaram said that local resident Pathai Khan has registered a case against Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev  for inciting religious sentiments. He told that on the basis of the complaint lodged, a case has been registered under different sections of the IPC.

In a gathering of saints in Barmer, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev had accused Muslims of resorting to terror, kidnapping Hindu girls and linking Namaz with terror. This is not the first case of controversy over Baba Ramdev’s statement. A few months ago, Ramdev gave a statement regarding women. There was a lot of controversy about that too. During that time, in a program organized in Thane, Maharashtra, Ramdev had said that women can look good even wearing saris, salwar kameez or without wearing anything.

In the midst of this whole controversy, a video also went viral in which Ramdev was heard smiling and saying that I am looking at everyone’s face, everyone is looking very happy. You are in luck. The women in front got a chance to wear saree. Those behind didn’t even get a chance. Perhaps she had brought the saree packed in a bag from home. You look good even wearing a saree. You look good in salwar suit like Amritaji and like me someone looks good even if they don’t wear it.
