Lucknow: Starting February 10, classes 6 to 8 of U.P. schools have opened up. After this next lot of schools reopening will be primary sections which reopen from March 1. As schools reopen there are already guidelines that have been laid out after COVID – 19. Schools have reopened after 11 months. The need for reopening came at a time when students in state government primary and junior high schools fail to get access to online education. Students will have to fill consent forms and format clearly states the school will do everything possible to prevent the Corona epidemic.
Promini Chopra, Principal, Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar Lucknow said, “We are following all SOPs as per government guidelines. The entry exit has been regulated with three gates available. 70 students each move out of the gate after every 15 minutes. Each gate has contactless sanitizers and no mask removal is permitted and assembly at a spot is being monitored along with no food being allowed in the open. The junior sections are in school for 3 hours whereas the senior lot is in school for 5 hours. Vans which have 50 plus students are maintaining the basic protocol and are not allowed to enter.”
Dr. Manjula Goswami, Principal, Millennium School, Lucknow said, “SOPs are clearly laid down for the schools and we are following them in principal. The classes for 9, 10, 11 and 12 have been scheduled accordingly. Divided into three shifts, classes are being held.
