Bangla tigers face heat as Pakistan raise the bar in thrilling WC clash

Kolkata: The Pakistani team has made a strong comeback in the ODI World Cup 2023 being hosted by India. Under the captaincy of Babar Azam, Pakistan team has registered its first win after losing 4 consecutive matches. It defeated Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the match played on Tuesday (31 October).
In this match played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, Pakistan was given a target of 205 runs, in response to which Babar Brigade won the match in just 32.3 overs. With this victory, Pakistan’s hopes of reaching the semi-finals remain intact. Whereas Bangladesh is completely out.
Pakistani captain Babar Azam flopped once again
For Pakistan, opener Fakhar Zaman played the highest innings of 81 runs in 74 balls. During this, he hit 7 sixes and 3 fours. While Abdullah Shafiq scored 68 runs on 69 balls. Both of them made a partnership of 128 runs for the first wicket. Off-spinner Mehdi Hasan Miraj took all three wickets for Bangladesh.
