Before hitting the streets, check the diversions as city witnesses India, NZ clash at Ekana
Lucknow: There will be a T20 match between India and New Zealand at Ekana Stadium on Sunday. During this time there has been a change in the traffic system. Traffic diversion (small vehicles/buses) will be in place from 3 PM to 8 PM and from 10 PM till the match is over. This information has been given by DCP Traffic Rais Akhtar. The owerhouse match will also see the Chief Minister specially present at the stadium.
Parking for pass holder visitors
Lucknow Traffic Diversion: Vehicles coming from Shaheed Path road should take right/left turn from Ahimamau underpass crossing and take about 2 km on Sultanpur road. Vehicles going ahead and coming from Sultanpur Road, turn right/left at HCL Tiraha, turn left at Sanskriti Tiraha, go straight, go straight to Over Head (roundabout) intersection, go straight to Palacio intersection, right ahead of Ikana Stadium Tiraha, to the designated gate (gate) of Ikana Cricket Stadium. No.-1 and 3) will park in Parking P-1 between Gate No.-1 and Gate No.-2 and Parking P-2 between Gate No.-2 and Gate No.-3.
Shaheed Path Mod Kanpur Road/Utrethia/Telibagh 4/2 wheelers coming from Shaheed Path Marg, in front of Shaheed Path Utrethia Railway Crossing, get down from the left service lane from Shaheed Path, turn right from the underpass, turn left at Neelmatha Chauraha (Awadh Shilp Gram Chauraha) Medanta Hospital, going ahead about 2.5 km from Lulu Mall, will park near Dayalbagh at P-10 and P-11 parking for 4 wheelers and P-12 for 2 wheelers. On the way back, take a right turn from GD Goenka Tirahe and go to your destination via Shaheed Path.
On the other hand, two wheelers coming from Shaheed Path Marg should turn right/left from Ahimamau underpass intersection and walk about 2 km ahead on Sultanpur Road and vehicles coming from Sultanpur Road should turn right/left from HCL Tirahe and left overhead (roundabout) intersection from Sanskriti Tirahe. Walk straight ahead and park at P-3, an empty field parking lot behind Palacio Mall.
Lucknow Traffic Diversion: 1. Normal traffic from Kamta Shaheed Path Tiraha Ayodhya Road will not be able to go towards Sultanpur Road/Rae Bareli Road/Kanpur Road via Shaheed Path from Kamta Tiraha. Rather, these vehicles will be able to reach their destination via Polytechnic Square/Indira Gandhi Pratishthan Square/Equity Square/Lalbatti Square/Kariyappa Square/Telibagh Square/Barabirwa Square.
2. Normal traffic from Shaheed Path Kanpur Road Tiraha Kanpur Road will not be able to go from Shaheed Path Kanpur Road Tiraha towards Sultanpur Road/Rae Bareli Road/Ayodhya Road via Shaheed Path. Rather, these vehicles will be able to go to their destination via Barabirwa Square/Banglabazar Square/Telibagh Square/Kariyappa Square/Lalbatti Square/1090 Square.
3. Normal traffic from Gosaiganj Kasba Tiraha Sultanpur Road will not be able to go towards Ahimamau from Gosaiganj Kasba Tiraha. Rather, these vehicles will be able to reach their destination from Mohanlalganj town crossing by turning left from Gosaiganj town crossing and passing in front of Adarsh Jail.
4. Normal traffic from Utrethia underpass intersection Rae Bareilly Road/Centt Road will not be able to go towards Ahimamau intersection/Kamta Tiraha Ayodhya Road by climbing Shaheed Path from Utrethia underpass intersection. Rather, these vehicles will be able to reach their destination via Mohanlalganj or via Telibagh Square/ Barabirwa Square/ Cariappa Square.
5. General traffic from Husdia underpass intersection will not be able to go towards Ahimamau intersection / Shaheed Path Kanpur Road Tiraha from Husdia underpass intersection. Rather, these vehicles will be able to reach their destination via the city area via 1090 intersection.
6. Normal traffic from Lalbatti intersection will not be able to go towards Ahimamau intersection/Sultanpur Road/Rae Bareilly Road/Kanpur Road from Lalbatti intersection. Rather, these vehicles will be able to reach their destination from Lalbatti Square via Cariappa Square, Telibagh or Bangla Bazar Square, Barabirwa Square.
