Bhajan Samrat, Anup Jalota heads to Lucknow to pick India’s first Bhajan Kunwar / Kokila
Lucknow: In short time Raaga Adhyayan Spiritual & Music Reality Show has created ripples among musically attuned folk. The programme is being brought for the audience via Apex Prime OTT platform and Raghuram Hospitality India as the presenting partner. The entire event is happening under the banner of Jalota Music Academy of Spiritual Music and Performing Arts.
Speaking about the selection process, Shivangi Vajpayee, Founder, Jalota Music Academy of Spiritual Music and Performing Arts said, “10 schools were pitched. There were 200 participants in Round 1. In round 2, the semi finals saw 30 schools participating and now 10 schools are participating for the grand finale.
In the final on December 22 which is slated to be held at Raga’s Resort, Anup Jalota will select the title winner who will be name Bhajan Kunwar or Bhajan Kokila respectively. The winner will be given a trophy and certificate. On Deva Road, the grand finale will see a seating arrangement of 1500 people.
The auditions have been witness to participation of youngsters who are in the age group of 5 to 12. These youngsters are well versed in shlokas, mantras. From a very young age they have been inclined towards godly and spiritual activities.
Among the schools involved in the event are CMS, Pioneer Montessori School, Kuns kaps kolen, Jagran Public School, Modern Academy, Sherwood, LPS, Christ Church, Maharishi Vidyalaya and DAV Public School.
The Raghuram Hospitality business covers a variety of rooms, banquet, hotel, restaurant, fooding and standard amenities. Team Raghuram also has diversified interests in FMCG sector which includes brands like Washington and Cairo Tales.
The Grand Finale will be graced by Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota, Governor Anandiben Patel, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak and other distinguished guests.
