Big action follows under CM Yogi Adityanath in the Fake Power of Attorney case

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s government has taken a big step in the fake power of attorney case. So far, seven sub-registrars of two districts have been suspended. In view of serious irregularities, 4 sub-registrars of Ghaziabad have been suspended. In fact, the game of fake power of attorney was going on in the sub-registrar’s office of Ghaziabad Sadar Tehsil for a long time. After getting information about this, an investigation was carried out.

4 sub-registrars of Ghaziabad have been suspended. So far 5 sub-registrars of Ghaziabad district have been suspended. After the suspension of sub-registrars, there has been a stir among the registration officers and employees in Ghaziabad district. Sub-registrars first Ravindra Mehta, third Suresh Chand Maurya, second Avnish Kumar Rai and fifth Naveen Rai have been suspended with immediate effect.

Property managers Amit Shukla, Laxman Prasad and Pramod Kumar have been suspended in the land scam in Moradabad.

It is noteworthy that in many districts including Gautam Buddha Nagar, Moradabad, Ghaziabad, huge complaints were being received in the registration of Power of Attorney (Muktarnama). After this, the government had banned the issuance of power of attorney and an inquiry was ordered. When the SIT did the investigation, the layers of irregularities kept getting exposed.

Minister of State for Stamp and Registration Ravindra Jaiswal had disclosed that in districts like Noida, Ghaziabad, more than 25,000 power of attorneys were made within 3 months. In such a situation, suspicion arose and the investigation was started with the formation of a special investigation team.

It has been revealed that the power of attorney for properties in Noida, Ghaziabad and some other districts in West UP was done on behalf of the people of many districts including Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad. In Uttarakhand’s districts like Dehradun, Haridwar, power of attorney wires were seen connecting. Earlier also it was revealed that people of Uttarakhand and other neighboring states are getting the power of attorney done for all properties in districts like Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar and Shamli on a large scale. But the property has to be transferred in such a wrong way.
