He said that the BJP and the state government were committed earlier also for the welfare of the backward classes and their reservation, is still today and will remain so in the future.
He said that the state government had issued a provisional reservation notification on December 05, 2022, giving full reservation to the OBC class, in which 27 percent reservation was arranged for OBCs on all types of seats and posts. He said it is clear from the notification that the state government has kept the same policy of giving full reservation to all the weaker sections including OBCs.
The intention of the BJP government was and is clear. That’s why the government constituted the Backward Classes Commission within 24 hours of the High Court’s order dated December 27, 2022 and appealed to the Supreme Court within 72 hours.
