New Delhi: The ICC has released the full schedule of the Men’s T20 World Cup, according to which a clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan is certain to happen on October 24. This time the event will be held in UAE and Oman from October 17 to November 14. In the T20 World Cup, the Super 12 stage match of Group 1 will start from 23 October. From October 24, the Super Stage matches of Group 2 will be played.
The ICC has divided 12 teams into two groups for the tournament. Apart from Australia, South Africa, England, West Indies, there will be two more teams in Group 1. On the other hand, in the 6 teams of Group 2, apart from India, Pakistan, there will be New Zealand, Afghanistan and two other qualifying teams.
The matches of the Super 12 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup will start from October 17 to October 22. Through this, 4 more teams of the Super 12 stage will be selected. The first match of Group 1 will be played between Australia and South Africa in the Super 12 stage. On the other hand, the Super 12 campaign of Group 2 will start with the India-Pakistan clash.
In the tournament, India will take on New Zealand on October 31 after taking on Pakistan on October 24. After this, on November 3, he will play Afghanistan. Whereas after this 2 more matches will be played on 5 and 8 November. India will play 4 out of 5 matches on the Super 12 stage in Dubai, while 1 match in Abu Dhabi. India will have no match in Sharjah.
The first semi-final of the T20 World Cup will be played on October 10, while the second semi-final match will be played on October 11. At the same time, the final of this tournament will be played on October 14.
