Blueprint ready for Light Metro project in Bareilly

Bareilly: In Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district too, people will now be able to enjoy the Metro journey. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a blueprint has been prepared for the Light Metro project in Bareilly to improve the urban living standards and free people from traffic. There is preparation to run Metro on 2 routes from Bareilly Junction to Airport.

Metro will run from Bareilly Junction to Funcity

On the instructions of CM Yogi, representatives of Consultant Company RITES gave a power point presentation in front of Commissioner Samyukta Samaddar, BDA Vice President Joginder Singh, Secretary Yogendra. According to the blue print, in the first corridor, the metro will run from Bareilly Junction to Chowki Chauraha, Satellite, Rohilkhand University and Funcity.

On the other hand, the second corridor will be built between Chowki Chauraha to IVRI via Qutubkhana, Kohadapir, Ddipuram. The commissioner instructed to include the city’s main point 300 Bed Hospital, Karmachari Nagar, Mini Bypass, Subhash Nagar, Qila Chauraha, Kudeshia Fatak and Izzatnagar Railway Station in the Metro project.

Re-meeting called on January 17

A meeting has been called again on January 17 regarding the Metro project. With the help of Bareilly Development Authority (BDA), the proposal to build a Nath Temple Corridor connecting Alakhnath, Madhinath, Tapeshwar Nath, Dhopeshwar Nath, Pashupatinath, Bankhandi Nath, Trivati Nath Temple has also been included in the City Development Plan.
