According to information, Bollywood actress and currently BJP leader Jaya Prada met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow . Though it is being termed as a courtesy call, it has triggered discussions in political circles as two assembly seats (Swar assembly of Rampur and Cantonment assembly of Mirzapur) are vacant in Uttar Pradesh.

This seat has become vacant after the cancellation of Azam Khan’s son Abdullah Azam Khan’s membership from Rampur’s Swar assembly seat. There is a possibility of a by-election on this soon. At the same time, the cantonment assembly seat of Mirzapur is also vacant. Meanwhile, BJP leader Jaya Prada’s meeting with CM Yogi is being viewed from this point of view.
