Bookie faces action in Agra, property worth Rs 4.5 crore attached

Agra: The continuous action of the police on the criminals is going on. Somewhere illegal encroachments are being demolished with bulldozers and their properties are being confiscated.

In Agra also, the UP Police reached a bookie’s house on Friday to take action. The police have taken action against this bookie under the Gangster Act. There are 27 cases registered on this in the police station. The police have also attached assets worth Rs 4.5 crore.

The matter is from Mantola police station area. Arif, who lives here, is a bookie.

About 27 cases are registered against Arif in many police stations. Action has already been taken against him under the Gangster Act.

SSP Sudhir Kumar Singh had submitted the report of his assets to the DM under the Gangster Act. After the order of the DM, the police force reached his house on Friday.

Police sealed two houses of Arif here. Five houses, one plot, the amount deposited in two bank accounts and two Activas have been identified in the confiscation action.

During the action, the police have seized assets worth 4.5 crores of Arif.
