Boost manpower, ensure patrolling & speed up action: Dr. Roshan Jacob

Lucknow: In connection with the preparations being made for the Global Investor Summit, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Roshan Jacob made a surprise inspection of the parking lots at Vrindavan. During the inspection, District Magistrate Lucknow Suryapal Gangwar, Chief Development Officer Riya Kejriwal, and officials of Municipal Corporation, Housing and Development Council, Public Works, Energy, District Administration and related departments were present.

During the inspection, the Divisional Commissioner checked the situation at 33 K.B. Instructions have been given to the officers of the Electricity Department to shift the power lines. She instructed to repair/painting the broken railing on Shaheedpath. She asked to clear the bushes in the land opposite to the tent city, increase the parking capacity, increase the number of beauty cutters of the municipal corporation, ensure parking arrangements for the housing development, whatever work is to be done responsibly.

The Divisional Commissioner instructed the police department to understand and comply with the VIP route, car pass, delegate category, prepare all parking plans, publish route diversion and parking information publicly, as well as increase regular patrolling on Shaheedpath.

After this, the Divisional Commissioner gave strict instructions to the concerned officer of NHI and said that whatever railing to be installed on the martyr’s path is ready. Instructions were given to increase the manpower for the installation of railings. She also inspected the helipad during the inspection. With 3 helipads ready, work was found remaining on 2 helipads.
