Lucknow: The bulldozer policy of the UP government is now visible in many states. Discussions are going on about bulldozers first in MP and now in Jahangirpuri, Delhi. In view of the rules in the state, the Yogi government is not giving anyone a chance to raise their voice regarding the action being taken.
In this regard, Additional Chief Secretary Home Awanish Kumar Awasthi says that action is being taken under the provisions of the Goonda Act. He said that CM Yogi Adityanath has strict instructions that mafia, goons, criminals should not be spared under any circumstances. Action should be taken against such goons, mafia, miscreants who create problems in the society and occupy government properties.
No exemption should be given to such people. For this, both the police and the administration have taken action under the Goonda Act by making mutual reconciliation.
By identifying 25 professional criminals, their properties worth 750 crores have been confiscated. A total of 2068 crore properties have been confiscated or demolished so far.
Awasthi said that the Chief Minister has a clear message that action will be taken against those who do wrong, no matter how big the mafia may be.
Today all mafia is in jail. No one has any interference in the contracts. Whatever property had been acquired by these mafia and their relatives from illegal sources of income has been demolished.
