Buzz grows louder that strings of Congress will remain in hands of Gandhi dynasty

New Delhi: Congress Presidential elections are near and discussions are intensifying regarding the candidates. In such a situation, the former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh is making it clear that whoever becomes the new chief of the party, he will also work under the leadership of the Gandhi family.

The special thing is that even the veterans who have left the Congress have been saying in gestures that even after the President is elected in the party, the command will remain in the hands of the Gandhi family.

On Thursday, Digvijay Singh said, ‘I have come here to take the form (nomination) and after that I will go back for the India Jodo Yatra. Every PCC delegate has the right to contest the election of the President. I have not discussed my nomination with the Nehru-Gandhi family. I have met senior leaders including AK Antony and Kharge. He said, ‘Nehru-Gandhi family will be our leader. Whoever becomes the party president, he will work under his leadership…. Our priority is to see how the situation in the country will improve. We will not allow the country to be divided or the Constitution to be weakened.

BJP first

The Bharatiya Janata Party has been continuously raising questions on the Congress President’s election. Recently, party spokesperson Shahzad Poonawalla had said regarding the post of Chief Minister of Rajasthan, ‘Ashok Gehlot says that if I become the party president, then party president Sonia Gandhi will decide the future things (for Rajasthan). In what capacity would she do this? She will become the former president! Shouldn’t Congress decide this for the MLAs? So the Gandhi family will have a remote control in their hands! Why fake elections again?’

Gehlot was questioned about the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. To this he replied, “Our general secretary in-charge Ajay Maken and Congress President Sonia ji will decide when and what process will be adopted there, as I am going to be the Congress President.” However, the 71-year-old leader is now out of the race for the post of president. Poonawalla’s verbal attacks on Congress did not stop. He asked, ‘Sir, why and how will Sonia Gandhi decide after you become the president? Is he the permanent chairman and you will be the remote control chairman?’

Congress veterans have also raised questions

Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh was questioned about the election of Congress President during an interview, he replied, “It has been almost a year since I left the party, so I would not like to comment on it.” However, he later said, ‘You really think there are going to be any elections? Have you ever? Proposals have already started coming or being brought from across the country that he or she should be the Speaker.
