Cabinet decisions to give hospitality sector, transportation much needed push

Lucknow: Many important decisions have been taken in the cabinet meeting held on Friday under the chairmanship of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. One of these decisions is related to the development of cities. Under this, the bus stands of the cities will now be developed. In this regard, approval has been given to develop 23 bus stands.

Bus stand will be developed on the lines of airport

These bus stands will be developed on the lines of airports. Hotels, malls and restaurants will be built in this, where the facility of staying, eating and buying goods will be available for the passengers. Approval has been received from the Yogi cabinet to develop 23 bus stands on PPP mode. Out of these 23, 2 bus stands will be in Lucknow and 2 in Agra district.

Along with this, two bus stands of Kumbh and Sangam city Prayagraj will also be developed. Under this, hotel arrangements will be made for the passengers to stay and restaurant arrangements will be made for food. Along with this, a market will also be made, in which apart from the famous things of the city, goods from other cities of UP will also be available.

Many other important proposals were also approved

There is a possibility that this facility is to be implemented in 75 districts in the coming time. Apart from this, 17 other proposals have also been approved in the cabinet meeting. In this, the most important decision has been taken to implement the Police Commissionerate system in three districts of the state. Now police commissioners will also sit in Agra, Ghaziabad and Prayagraj. Along with this, the new scrap policy of vans has also been approved. Not only this, rules have been simplified for setting up fuel stations on highways.
