Lucknow: MLC Ashutosh Sinha has written a letter to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath urging him to take corrective measures and help those who are in dire need of help. In his letter he has written that there should be a special focus on lives of advocates, mediapersons and teachers.
Sinha writes that due to the COVID situation nearly 3 lakh lives of families of advocates have been affected. He writes that due to the COVID crisis deaths of advocates has only increased the problem. He says that there should be some facilities for them and a compensation of 50L to the next of kin should be ensured in case a death happens.
Talking of the teachers in the state, Sinha has said that with salary an issue during this period, many educationists are facing a hand to mouth existence. Pointing this out Sinha said that there needs to be a relief package for them.
With the Panchayat elections just ended, he underscored that many teachers and officials have died due to election duty in COVID times. He said the family of the deceased should get a package of 50 L. Lastly he has said that all those mediapersons who have risked their lives and lost their life on the line of duty, there family should get a compensation of 50L.
